Easy Roasted Brussel Sprouts & Co.

Brussel sprouts, carrots and apples roasted with a light sweetened sauce is
a simple and different side dish for a heavy holiday meal. The aroma of maple syrup
and several of my favorite spices can break down the resistance of those with an aversion to tasting Brussel sprouts.

Nutrition Note!

Brussel sprouts are believed to have been grown in Brussel's Belgium and boast more Vitamin A, C, Folic Acid, Potassium, Magnesium and Phosphorus when compared with cabbage. Sprouts appear to be cabbage miniatures. They are in the same family but aren't cabbage babies, more like cousins?
The family crest takes the name Brassica or cruciferous and broccoli, kale, cauliflower, collard greens, turnips, mustard and Bok choy are all included in the family tree or garden!
