Happy February! Did you check out some great recipes when ice and snow
snapped the limbs of our trees? I did. The best ever melt in your mouth rolls I have ever made. I was amazed at how easy they are to mix up. Plus they are refrigerator rolls. The fluffiest, light yeast rolls I've ever made. And yes I ate too many with butter.

I believe they may be responsible for extra pounds I am trying to shed. If you are jumping on the scale these may be something to make for a church function or to give to a shelter! So out of love for fellow dieters, I included my easy and fantastic steamed broccoli-cauliflower duo.

As you can see I use tarragon vinegar that adds a kick. Now for those of us who are
staying away from the fat, just skip the butter. But if you need a tad, use the Land O'Lakes spreadable with canola or whatever you love. You can always use seasonings like Mrs. Dash!
And last but not least, I know some of you love your grandbabies and kiddos. We always loved Panny-Cakes growing up. Corn Cakes are my favorite. I also found Canadian bacon to be less salt than it's cousin bacon!

Please forgive me if you are on a strict diet and these are only temptations. Eat a diet bar, drink a protein shake, and just drool over the pictures. Some people can eat
anything and never gain a pound. At 67, I lost that capacity.
Every other day I am doing 300 weighted hoola-hoops and over 6000 steps, walking or jumping on my rounder trampoline!
